Website rental terms

Last updated: [DATE]

These terms apply when you use our website generator or rent a website from us. Please read section 6 before you pay. It explains what happens when you stop paying.

1. Who we are

We are Clientee AI s.r.o., Příčná 1892/4, Nové Město, 110 00 Praha 1, Czech Republic, company no. (IČO) 23435186, registered with the Municipal Court in Prague, file C 425374.

You can reach us at petr@clientee.co or on WhatsApp at +420 605 999 609.

2. The £1 deposit

You pay a £1 deposit before we generate your website. We hold your chosen design for 7 days.

If you start the rental, you pay the full £49 and we refund the £1 to your card. If you do not start it within 7 days, we keep the £1, delete your preview and release the design.

3. AI edits

Your preview includes 5 AI edits. Type each one on the preview page. Each message you send counts as one edit, however many changes it asks for.

If you don't like your website, tell us on WhatsApp what you would like instead and we rebuild it to match once, free of charge. If you still don't want it, you don't start the rental and section 2 applies.

We may pass a request to a person if the AI cannot safely carry it out. After you have used your AI edits, a person makes any further changes. We will tell you the price before we start.

4. Price and payment

The rental costs £49 a month. [VAT WORDING: AWAITING ACCOUNTANT] There is no setup fee. Stripe takes the payment each month until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time. The website stays visible until the end of the month you have paid for. We do not refund part-months.

5. What the rental includes

After your first payment, we will:

6. This is a rental, not a sale

You pay to keep the website visible. You do not buy the website.

We own the website's design and code, the domain name, the email address and the system account. We provide them to you only while your rental is active.

When your rental ends, whether you cancel or stop paying:

These things stay yours:

Enquiries from your customers

Enquiries from your website contain personal data, and you remain responsible for that data. For 30 days after your rental ends, you can ask us for a copy of your enquiries. We delete them after that.

7. Missed payments

If a payment fails, Stripe will try again. If it is still unpaid after 7 days, the rental ends and section 6 applies.

If you pay what you owe within 30 days after the website was hidden, we restore it. After that, we cannot promise to restore it or that the domain name will still be available.

8. Your design

While your rental is active, we will not offer the same design to another business in the same trade in the same town or city. A business in another trade or another place may have the same design.

When your rental ends, or your 7-day hold ends without a rental, we can offer the design to anyone.

9. Your content and photos

Sample photos and videos on your website are illustrative. They do not show your own work and the website says so. You must not present them as your own jobs. You can replace them with your own photos at any time by sending them to us on WhatsApp after your first payment.

By sending us photos or text, you confirm that you have the right to use them and that we may publish them on your website.

The AI writes draft text for your website. Check it before the website goes live. You are responsible for what the website says about your business, including qualifications, insurance, guarantees and prices.

We can refuse any request that is unlawful, misleading or breaks someone else's rights.

10. Google Review Builder add-on

This add-on is optional. It costs a single payment of £10 for one month. It includes Google review requests and the bonuses listed on the offer page, including a text back after missed calls and alerts on your phone. We send requests to up to 50 past customers.

We do not charge you again automatically. At the end of the month we ask whether you want to carry on. If you say yes, it continues at £197 a month. That price includes your website rental, so the £49 stops. If you say no or do not reply, the add-on stops and your website rental carries on at £49 a month.

We send review requests to real customers whose details you give us. You must have the right to share those details with us and to contact those customers.

Each customer decides whether to leave a review and what it says. We do not write, buy or filter reviews, and we do not offer rewards for them. We cannot promise any number of reviews or any rating, and Google decides what it shows.

Reviews your customers leave stay on your Google profile after the add-on and after your rental ends.

11. What we do not promise

We do not promise any number of enquiries, any amount of work or any position in Google. We aim to keep your website available, but we cannot promise that it will never be interrupted.

12. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

If you use the service for your business, we are not liable for lost profit, lost business or indirect loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the problem arose.

Your rights if you are a private consumer

If you are not using the service for a business, you have legal rights that these terms do not take away. They include the right to cancel within 14 days of paying, and that right applies to the £1 deposit too.

If you cancel within those 14 days, we refund what you paid minus what we have already spent on your website, such as your domain name and email. If we have spent nothing yet, you get all of it back.

13. Ending or changing the service

We can end your rental with 30 days' notice. We can end it straight away if you seriously break these terms or use the website unlawfully.

We can change these terms with 30 days' notice by email or message. If you do not agree to the change, you can cancel before it takes effect.

14. Law

Czech law applies to these terms and the Czech courts deal with any dispute. If you are a private consumer, you also keep any protection the law of your home country gives you, and that law may let you bring a claim there. [SOLICITOR TO CONFIRM]
